Spicer Environmental Emphasis Day (SEED) | 17-11-2024

SEED Day at Spicer Adventist University

On 17th November 2024, staff, faculty, and students of Spicer Adventist University gathered together to celebrate the Spicer Environmental Emphasis Day (SEED). The event was a significant part of our efforts to promote environmental consciousness and sustainability within our university community.

The day started with an environmental cleanup activity across the campus. Participants were actively engaged in cleaning up the surroundings, picking up litter, and planting new greenery to enhance the beauty and sustainability of our campus. The goal of the initiative was to create a cleaner, greener environment and inspire everyone to take responsibility for the preservation of nature.

After a productive morning of work, all participants came together for a fellowship lunch on the lawn. This was an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to enjoy some delicious food, share experiences, and strengthen the sense of community within the university.

The event concluded with a reflective discussion on the importance of environmental conservation and how every individual can make a positive impact. The SEED Day was a fulfilling occasion that not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also reinforced our collective commitment to sustainability.
