This program includes a comprehensive list of all major Psychology fields that are offered as the Core and Elective courses to our students. We also collaborate with the other departments under the choice-based credit system [CBCS] due to which they are free to choose from a manifold of elective courses.
The faculty at the Department of Psychology believes in a holistic and overall improvement of each student. Co-Curricular activities can help the students to build their skills outside and inside of the classroom. The following are the activities undertaken in the department:
Department Club-Meetings are conducted monthly. Activities like quizzes, movie screening, role-plays, debates, etc. are organized by students. Club-Meeting activities develop leadership and organizational skills.
In addition to academic activities, co-curricular activities like seminars, webinars, presentations and group discussions are incorporated in instructional methodology to improve professional and social skills.
Educational trips are organized with the objective of expanding the socio-cultural awareness through interactions with the amateurs and professionals in real life. The students are also expected to extend the classroom learning to everyday common situations.
The department systematically conducts a Freshers and Farewell party every year for the incoming and outgoing students. We hope to bring out the brighter side of our students through various Departmental Get- togethers.
