ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Admission to Spicer Adventist University (SAU) is open to any applicant who meets the academic and character requirements of the University and expresses willingness to cooperate with its policies, irrespective of one’s caste, colour, creed, physically challenged, ethnicity, gender, marital status, nationality, origin, race, region, religion, or tongue. However, the university administration reserves the right to reject any applicant if it is convinced that admitting the applicant is not in the best interest of the university. Out of the total approved intake capacity, 70% of the seats shall be reserved for the students having Domicile of Maharashtra. Seats for admission in the University, for the students belonging to scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Vimukta Jattis, Nomadic Tribes, Other Background Classes and handicapped students, shall be reserved as per the policy of the State Government.  Since Spicer Adventist University is a minority institution students from the christian minority community will also be admitted. In case of the seats being vacant admission will be granted on first come first serve basis.  Admission in professional and technical courses shall be made only through entrance test conducted at State level either by an association of the Universities (PERA) conducting similar courses.

 

Step-1: The Online application form need to be filled by the candidate on the Spicer Adventist University website(www.sau.edu.in/admissions); and attach the necessary documents needed. On payment of the application fee of Rs.500 for Indian and $20 for foreign students (non-refundable) your application will be processed and you will hear back from the Admission Office.

The documents required:

  1. High School Pass Certificate (X Standard/ICSE/Matriculation/ SSC, etc.)
  2. High School Statement of Mark or Grade Sheet.
  3. Higher Secondary School Pass Certificate (HSSC/ISC/ Intermediate, etc.)
  4. Higher Secondary School Statement of Mark or Transcript
  5. Bachelor’s / Undergraduate Pass certificate.
  6. Bachelor’s / Undergraduate Pass Statement of marks or Grade Sheet.
  7. Transfer Certificate from the last institution attended.
  8. Migration Certificate from the last State Board/ Central Board attended
  9. Character Recommendation from the Principal of last institution attended.
  10. Health Certificate from a recognized doctor with a minimum MBBS degree.
  11. Address Proof (Aadhar/Voter Card / Driving License / Passport)
  12. GAP certificate for only those who have taken break for a year or more in education

Step-2: All admissions to Spicer Adventist University are granted by the admissions committee after scrutiny of the application form and the merit list will be displayed on the website. The provisional admission letter, registration link, user ID, and password will be sent to the applicants through their email.

Step-3: The applicant should login to the website and pay the required fee whereby he/she will receive a permanent Identification number and will be allowed to proceed to get the class permit for the semester.

Step-4: The original Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate must be sent to the following address through Speed Post or any reputed Currier services within 30 days.

MBA applicants who have secured minimum of 50% marks in his/her Bachelor program need to appear for any AICTE approved CET examination (example: PERA-CET, MAH-MBA/MMS CET-2021) and produce the certificate during admission.
